Unreleased Morricone...

I have no idea why but being in a bit of a Morricone frenzy (perhaps it's because I found a cd of his priced very cheap), I wanted to add this as a PS in my previous thread but what the heck... I'll create a new thread.

Which scores by Morricone would you like to see released that have not received an official release yet?

Are there any which have not been released?

I'm sure there are.

I have no clue! :- )

Cheers!

There are many unreleased Morricone scores (or many that only have 1 or 2 tracks released), but the one I always think of is:

Roma Come Chicago (1968)

You can view the entire Morricone discography and see what has not been released:

I own nearly 300 scores of Maestro Morricone and I also have the DIABOLIK score, which is very poor in my opinion and the ROMA COME CHICAGO- a very nice soundtrack.
I also have the Main Title from ARABELLA and -wow- it's one of his funniest tracks! I would love to see the score released!
I've one track from GIOCCHI PARTICOLARI, very nice track and RUBA AL PROSSIMO TUO.

TODO MODO should be released too. I don't know anything about this score

DIABOLIK is the peak of the unreleased Morricone scores, until now only exists a poor bootleg Cd with F/X...Also I love his work in tandem with Bruno Nicolai in ROME CONTRO CHICAGO (also released i bootleg version)

THE GIRL AND THE GENERAL is the best unreleased scores, some beautiful music on this. Also WHITE DOG deserves a good quality official release.

Well, WHITE DOG was released with SO FINE on Mask- Disc.
I think, THIS release is not a boot (I know the problem with Mask Discs)- am I right?

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and stumbled across it looking for the opening/closing theme to Salo, or
120 Days of Sodom. David Anthony has indicated it might have been written and used
previously. It's a charming little syncopated number, a bit jazzy, and I'd appreciate any help I
could get in finding it. I see there are some soundtrack complilations with a piece or two from
the movie? Can you tip me whether one of them has this particular music?

Thanks!
