Question

EIGHT BELOW - Mark Isham

Hi,
does anyone own the original promo CD of this soundtrack ? I've got hold of a copy just for a buck, but I believe it to be a cheap homemade copy.
If someone owns the original: are the letters and white ground color directly applicated to the disc or is it a sticker glued to the disc ?

My copy has a number around the hole on the reading side of the disc: 4152C1111 01943 09.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards.

Hi,

thanks for the help.
But this is not what I have.
This release on auction at ebay is clearly a bootleg, the label name alone
"Snow" is a good hint.

Disney and/or ipod actually did release a limited number of CD-R of this
title otherwise only available through download.
And my copy is so cheaply done that I assume it to be a homemade disc and
counterfeit of the real promo. But with promos you never know, some I own
and where I'm 100% sure they the real thing are cheaply done as well. I can
only compare with a collector who owns the original to find out.

All the best

If you got your copy for a dollar, one would have to assume its a cd-r copy of a cd-r or download copy. The promo was a cd-r put out in limited supply, going for a pretty tidy sum. I talked to an owner of the promo and was told it was a cd-r w/no label on it. The one I have is copy of the promo, both being a cd-r, and hooray that I have it. You are very lucky to have gotten the copy for a dollar
