I have the music- on a bootleg (wit SFX). I think, it was never released on an official CD.
That's no pitty in my opinion, it's a poor score.

I've seen I think three different editions of Sex Power, all transfers from the LP. I hope that's not all there will ever be. Those source tapes are probably sitting against a damp wall somewhere, rotting. GRRR.

Listen to the end of band 8, and then band 10, for a female voice singing a line which would much later become the basis for the Bladerunner end credits.

I've seen a sealed CD copy in this record shop and it seemed legit but I decided not to purchase it. I do not recall the record label. I'm pretty sure it is still sitting there. I have seen it on numerous occassions just collecting dust and taking up space.

I also noticed that reputable internet retailers have the CD I have seen (at least judging from the cover) for sale. The record label, at least from some of these retailers I noticed, is Platinum Records.

Again, this is not even listed here in SC's database so it made me wonder about the legitimacy of the cd I have noticed.

I have not seen the movie but nevertheless it would be interesting to watch it some day if it is available in any format.

As far as the score being good or bad, this is really a subjective matter but what I find interesting is the fact that supposedly this is the first score that Vangelis ever composed.

The other day I was talking about "Sex Power" with someone who is quite knowledgable with music in general and told me that as far as they knew no cd has ever been released but if I do find myself a copy, even an unofficial copy, to simply grab it.

The LP they remarked is highly collectible and can fetch quite a sum amongst collectors.

I had no idea.
