I have the Varese version and I'm happy with it, the best parts of the score are on it, so I won't have to buy the new version.

I never knew that there was extra music for this one but since I like the Halloween scores and being a Carpenter score fan... I must have my copy.

I don't think I have the patience to sit and watch the film though.

I am happy too that I've got the Varese cd, but am curious that this music track might be on this new one.....

People there is nothing else on this new cd worth re-buying it for. All the best tracks are on the Varese version. Also, I must say that it's highly unlikely that this will become more valuable than the Varese version. I will not be buying this new release. The soundtrack market doesn't sell in large numbers unless it's someone like John Williams. Look eg: Halloween III limited to 1,000 copies still in stock over a week after the release, compared to say, Superman by John Williams has adance amazon.com sales of over 5,000 copies, never mind what it sold in the shops and all the other websites the world over. There's no money in them that's why they're limited. Do I have to say it again!
