The return to OZ

I have come across a 12" lp for The return to Oz, i've been unable to find any mention of this lp apart from later David Shire versions and snippets in bio's etc. On the the cover it states "a rare original cast album" On the rear most of the text is japanese except for a box in the corner that reads "This record has been pressed and distributed on a limited, non-commercial basis and the producers do not intend to realize a profit" etc etc its
RFO-101 with green label mono and dated 1978. It features Liza Minnelli as Dorothy along with the rest of the original cast. I do believe the recordings originally took place mid 60's but were shelved until this lp. Anyone who can help on value, info etc get in touch anything else anyone wants to know just ask. Its in near mint condition. Thanks

Here's what I found on the Liza Minnelli page on www.mtv.com:

"In 1962, she recorded the voice of Dorothy, the part played by her mother in the film The
Wizard of Oz, for an animated sequel called Journey Back to Oz that was shelved until 1974,
when it resulted in a soundtrack album on RFO Records called The Return to Oz."

I don't think there has ever been a CD release, but unofficial versions pop up on eBay.

Take care,
Dave

Cheers for the reply. I've read similar on various other sites but still haven't had any joy on finding out whether this album has a monetary value?
