Journey to the far side of the sun
I've been looking for the "Journey to the far side of the sun" score of Barry Gray for quite a long time and found it on the Monsters in Motion site. But I recall that someone told me that he bought "Silent Running" CD from them and that was a LP transfer.
Is this a "proper" release, a bootleg or a LP transfer?
It contains also the "Pinewood in Space" suite from the concert that Gray gave for the Filmharmonic series of concerts.

I have this CD, bought from MiM and it's a bootleg. I also ordered a "Japanese" copy of Vince DiCola's Transformers OST. It wasn't the original, it was a printed silver CD with a badly printed copy of an original cover.
When I emailed them about their copy of the 2-disc Blade Runner, asking if it was a bootleg, they never answered.
If we sold items like this on ebay, without warning our customers they'd be trouble. How an online store gets away with it is beyond me.

Thank you for your reply. My doubts about this release are confirmed then. But, do you know of an official release of this soundtrack?

I would steer well clear of MIM, as they are notorious for bootlegs.
To date, Journey To the Far Side Of the Sun has never been officially released. I think Universal distributed the film. Nuff said.
