Is it illegal to lend a friend a CD? No. Is it illegal for that friend to rip the CD to his computer without the friend knowing? Maybe. Is it illegal to buy that CD and trade a CD with your friend? Not sure. Is it illegal to rip that traded CD to your own computer? Not sure either. Maybe selling an old CD on ebay? Would you like me to send you a penny in the post? OK. This soundtrack (PROM NIGHT) was posted on a soundtrack blog not to long ago. Many of them have been shut down due to the fact that they are "sharing" which technically is illegal.
