I would love to see the following:
"Friday the 13th"--probably not, why bother?
"Jaws 3"---yeah, right.
"Highlander with the missing Queen songs"-- dubious release at best.
"Tourist Trap or "Home Movies--" possible, but not likely.
With Varese I find it better not to speculate on their upcoming releases because, as many of us know, anticipation is often better than life, and what you want and what you get are two different things. Here's to great expectations,
Jeremy

How about "Slaughter On Tenth Avenue"? The Richard Rogers ballet score adapted for the old waterfront corruption drama from the 1950's arranged by Hershel Burke Gilbert.
Personally, the old Decca LP is fine with me. But still, a more sinister and foreboding score would be hard to find. I don't believe it's ever been released on disc.
It's wild! The Richard Rogers music is woven together by original compostions from Hershel Burke Gilbert. I consider it something of a little known classic.
I searched for that recording for years until I eventually found it in some used record store bin for a couple of dollars.

For me, it has to be Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2. After LaLaLand released Tango and Cash, i have a sneaking fealing that BHC might not be far behind (from either LLL or VS). I'm hoping it's Varese though, as the 19th is only next monday!

How about a proper release of John Debney's "Hocus Pocus"? not a chance, i know but still.....
Salem_Saberhagen400, November 14, 2007; 11:19 AM
