Here's a link to something I created several days ago and posted on my YouTube channel for anyone interested in checking it out...

How did you manage to acquire the licensing rights?

If it's just for YouTube, you can use anything you want apparently (until someone complaints about rights issues).

@ rinse: That's complete NONSENSE! Do you think YT is a legal vacuum? You'd better turn on
your brain before posting such crap.

Hey Coma, speaking of posting crap that's about all I read from you. Why don't you go screw yourself.

knives, you're sure the only one in this forum, who shouldn't dare to leave THIS comment.

Not sure what you're trying to say there. Maybe something is getting lost in the translation.

It seems anyone can post anything on YouTube without worrying about the rights - that is until someone complaints about it and has the video removed (like some Hollywood distributors did).

I didn't say it was 'legal', it's just reality.
So I didn't assume wwk would bother about obtaining the rights to the Mancini music before posting on YT.
It's not meant to be a professional broadcast and he isn't making a profit from it - only YouTube has a financial interest, so if anyone is to blame...

(rinse dream) Exactly right. And as a matter of fact, regardless of the petty whining and complaining of Coma... I'm damn proud of that little piece on YouTube.

Hey Coma, get your head out of your ass.

And another thing.. In the early 70's Mancini had a television program. On that show he invited people to put together short films and use pieces of his scores as background music. They would choose the best of the bunch to be broadcast on "The Mancini Generation". I like to think He would enjoy the little thing I put together using "Moon River" and photos of Randy Nelson.
