GOLDEN GLOBE nominations
Hi folks!
These are the Golden Globe nominations for Best Original Score:
- ATONEMENT (Dario Marianelli)
- EASTERN PROMISES (Howard Shore)
- GRACE IS GONE (Clint Eastwood)
- INTO THE WILD (Michael Brook, Kaki King, Eddie Vedder)
- THE KITE RUNNER (Alberto Iglesias)
Which one is your favourite? Mine is THE KITE RUNNER.
Best regards,
Angel

I have seen Atonement, Eastern Promises and Into The Wild. The others are yet to be seen in the UK but am eagerly awaiting the other two mentioned. By process of elimination, Atonement has a good theme and is oft repeated throughout the film with very little or no variations. Eastern Promises is good, a quite and unassuming score but good nonetheless. Instantly recognisable as a Shore score. However, my vote would go to Into The Wild. Of the three films that I saw, this one was the one I said to myself I'm gonna get the CD to this film. I just thought it went well with the movie and the moods of the film.
PS. Very good question. I wish we had more like them.
