Question

His score for "The Silent Partner" is tops. The Pablo recording features a jazz interpretation. The symphonic version as heard in the film has never been released.

He was one of the last jazz greats still alive.

A wonderful and truly inspirational musician and a gentle and classy person.

He will be truly missed.

He was the one whose music founded my love for Jazz. To me, this is the worst news of the
day. I had the pleasure to meet him about twenty years ago and this is one of the memories I
cherish the most.
