Warning!
I just bought the soundtrack from "28 Days Later."
The music in the movie works really well (and IS really great) but don't waste your money on the album. It's a score album, but they did it all wrong... They cut everthing!

I have the score or soundtrack and I think John Murphy's music is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you. I was talking about the album as it is.
The tracks are too short. Some of the greatest cues are badly cut.
But the music is wonderful.

John Murphy's career is one to follow. The music to 28 Days Later is very haunting and atmospheric in places. In answer to the post, I felt that there was something lacking in the soundtrack album, least of all the Godspeed You Black Emperor track. It is only now, provoked by this post, that I've given it any thought. I'll have to watch the DVD again and see what else is missing.
