For me it was THE FOUNTAIN, although released in 2006, I discovered it in 2007.

- best label definitely and without any doubt – INTRADA, followed by Varese Sarabande
and LaLaLand
- best for the first time on cd: GODZILLA, BAD BOYS
- best re-issue: THE BURBS
- best complete score: LOTR ROTK Complete Recordings
- a must have: LOTR ROTK, GODZILLA

scores IMO of 2007 I enjoyed very very much and played very often:
- Live Free or Die Hard
- Malone
- The Vanishing
- The Burbs
- Stardust
- Transformers
- The Last Legion
- Alien vs. Predator 2
- Fantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer

Disappointments of 2007:
- POTC AWE
- Last varese club cd set

Overall IMO it was a good year for scores.
Take care!

Too many questions for me to answer. I'm not that organized. The one that comes to mind with me that I haven't purchased yet would be the first ever release of Dimitri Tiomkin's "High Noon".

Greetings from the USA Sijbold. By the way... Are you one of the guys who created this site?

To workingwithknives, I am indeed the one who's name is so many times on this site. The site itself is done by Ton Werkman and his son. I have my extreme large soundtrack collection on this site (6763 items) And I photographed all the artwork from the lps (a big job) Ton is still working to place them all. The collection is still growing.

I've admired quite a few of your LP cover images on this site. Are they from a digital camera or a scanner?

I can boast a collection of recordings around 5500 to 6000 total with I'd say about 70% being film music.

It's a great and fullfilling thing to be into.

victoravalentine, January 12, 2008; 8:16 PM

All the lp covers are done by digital camera, cds and singles on the scanner. Pity there are no scanners in the LP format.

This hobby started when I was 14 years old, now I am 50. Unfortunately My wife does not like the music at all. (nobody is perfect ;-) )
