			   							Patrick Doyle

Patrick Doyle, my favorite film composer, was diagnosed with leukemia a while back (I believe) and I am so happy to see that the illness has not impacted his output. He is to write a new score for another movie, IGOR.

What is (are) your favorite Doyle's score(s)? Mine are Needful Things, Dead Again and Shipwrecked.

I can heartily recommend Nanny Mcphee, which also contains one of the best single track standout moments of 2005 in "Snow In August".

			   							I like:
*A little Princess
*Mary Shelley's Frankenstein
*Secondhand Lions
*The Last legion
*Needful Things

And, altough the whole score is too repetitive, my top favorite cue by the composer is by far "Harry In Winter" from The Goblet of Fire. Outstandigt cue!

I can't say which score altogether is his best, but as for single cues, I especially like "Grand Central" (Carlito's Way) and the Overture for "Much ado about nothing".
