White Fang by Basil Poledouris
Hello
I'm looking for the soundtrack of this movie composed by the late Basil Poledouris for quite a time and i don't think it ever have been released , or maybe it's ultra rare to find but on ebay i saw that some seller offer it if you buy another Basil Score like Amerika and i want to know if any of you have some info about it , if it's a legit cd or not , if it has good audio quality , if the score is complete etc....

1-Why you don't ask him?
2-Mine is 48 min. & the sound quality is quite good, but i am not sure if it includes Walker, Zimmer or Trench scores because all sounds like Poledouris.
3- If there was a legitimate releases you surely can see it in in this database as there is a White Fang page with even bootlegs about....
4-I saw this seller give a free CDR(as he says enough clearly about!) with any CD you buy from him (and not just with Amerika) . It's a gift after all...Do you count the teeth of a horse when it is given as a present?..You can wait and see if someday he list a CD you want with a price you want then you can ask him White Fang with...
5-Let's hope one day there will be a legitimate releases, problem is Disney asks a lot of money for it ( i wanted actualy release this CD! First, they didnot answered at all and finaly the amount they asked about was so high "even" with selling 3000 copies ;) was not possible to pay them back !!! ) .
So until then enjoy with what you can have or dream about...

I too hope they release this score someday, it's too beautiful to ignore and is certainly deserving
of an official release. It's personally my most sought after Poledouris score. However there is no
official White Fang soundtrack at this time and like cinemusic said it's from Disney which is not
always the easiest company to get a score release especially from years ago.

I saw on Ebay that there is a legit club release of White Fang 2 , but i don't know this score and i'm angry they didn't made a bundle with the score of the first one , the score of Basil for White Fang is so beautiful , so why they release the second instead of the first ?
I pray for its release one day in a complete version , if disney didn't have the right for this title , it will be already on stores , Amanda and Amerika are not the best known scores of basil but they've been released ( god thank you for that )!

Lunar,
White Fang 2: Myth Of The White Wolf music by John Debney is actually a promo release but
made it's way into circulation through soundtrack speciality sites, im not sure of an exact
number that were made but i heard possibly around 1000? it's 17 tracks and I highly
recommend it if you can find it for a decent price. It's a fine Debney score and it's got some of
that folk/adventure-ness similar to Poledoruis score for the first movie.
Another nice Debney score that's a bit similar to White Fang 2 is "Snow Dogs" which however
also released as a promo and is pretty hard to find. I still hope that we see White Fang as
an official score someday.
