Terminator 3

So what is the verdict on the new Terminator 3 Rise Of The Machines score by Marco Beltrami?

It hasn't been released here in Australia yet and what to know if this is a worthy addition to the two previous scores by Brad Fidel. My understanding is that Fidel's Terminator theme has been bastardised.

What do you think of this and the score over all?

I just went and got the cd last week. Even though I have a cdr copy of the first 2 scores I consider this a great addition to the other 2. It's wild and energenic like some of the cues on the second one. This is not a synthesizer score, but it is wild and full of heatbeat throbs like Aliens and Reign Of Fire which I adore. It is a action pack score that will make your window's raddle.

You won't be disappointed. The theme track is ok which is I think track 19, but since I hate today's shity music I stayed away from the last 2 tracks, 20 and 21 since they are crummy songs. But the singer Dillion Dixon on the cd didn't do a bad job with a song on the soundtrack of MIMIC.

I hope this helps. The score length is 18 tracks and I think is about 48 minutes??????????

Oh by the way I didn't care too much for the score to the T2 except for the action cues cause the music is more mellow and not much energenic. I even hated that Varese didn't include the music cue where Eddie Furlong is being chased by the tanker in the galley! :(

Agreed. That piece of music was one of the most defining moments in the film, and deserved to be on the album. Similar to the first film's "Escaping the Police Station" cue that was restored on the wonderful Terminator-Definitive Edition. Maybe we'll see a T2-Definitive Edition in the near future?
