The Blue Lagoon by Basil Poledouris - new release?

I always thought that there was only one release for this score by Southern Cross. But I found this at the Amazon.uk website

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Blue-Lagoon-Original-Soundtrack/dp/B000003HD3/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&;s=music&qid=1204160724&sr=1-1

It's a 9 track release by "5th continent"...with some track names looking new to me.

Does anyone know if it's legit? Anyone knows if the Southern Cross release can still be purchased anywhere?

Thanks!

I believe 5th Continent and Southern Cross were part of the same organization. The label no. is the same so it has to be the Southern Cross issue. The track listing is probably incomplete.

Thanks, piano! I am still a little hesitant to place my order though....

It's the regular release, they just have the tracklisting incomplete, that's all. There should be 16 tracks.

Not a bad film until the point when Leo McKern dies. After that it's impossible to watch.

I just love the score....hopefully there will be a complete release together with "Return to the Blue Lagoon".
