La Folie des Grandeurs "La Noria" track

Hello friends

can anyone who owns the LP release of "La Folie des Grandeurs" please confirm whether the track #6 "La Noria" is indeed longer than on the CD ? On the CD it plays for 2'35'' and ends with what I consider an abrupt fade-out while the track listing for the LP shows the length 2'48''.

This surely wouldn't be the first time when the Universal France CD release butchered some track but I would like to know it for sure.

Thank you.

I don't have the LP nor the French CD, but I do have the Japanese CD issue which doesn't seem to have anything strange about track 6. The back insert says the track is 2'37 in length, though it starts a gradual normal-sounding fadeout at around 2'20 and fades out at 2'38 then silence from 2'39 to 2'42 when the next track starts. Keep in mind that track timings on LP's (and even CD's) are not always accurate.

I believe the Japan issue is still in print. Label no. is UICY-3111 and it comes in a jewel case (not digipak) with the original cover art. Sound quality is excellent.

Just out of curiosity, what other tracks has Universal France "butchered"?
