Loudspeakers In The Trees
I haven't had the oppourtunity to do this recently. If available I would in an instant although it does defy the illogical and common notion of "normalcy", which is always a good thing to do.
My brother and I once placed speakers high within the branches of two oak trees hidden within the summer leaves. The effect was such as creating a correlation with the late night sounds of summer. the crickets and winds and occasional noises made by night birds. The experience was one of pure joy.
The music at the time was of the improvisational nature. Some music wouldn't work in this context. the music chosen worked very well. I remember in particular the Grachan Moncur recording "New Africa" blending beautifully.
Indulging in a bit of marijuana also serves as a good way to trigger the creative process if in fact there is a nucleus of originality within the brain to be cultivated by the pleasures of cannibis.
And don't forget to check out my new YouTube channel. It's my gift to the music lovers at large.
There you will find an eclectic blend from the greatest talents in the world. It's not only premeditated music for the silver screen but many other genres as well.

You know I'm thinking of one time in particular when I really enjoyed the experience of headphones. As I think back I realize that was about 25 years ago. I would take an evening walk in a park on warm nights. This night was early autumn in the midwestern United States. the leaves of the trees were beginning to dry and fall so the wind blowing though them had that sound of the changing of seasons. I was listening to a recording that has long been one of my favorites, "Providence" by Miklos Rozsa scored for small orchestra. It was a beautiful thing and a memory from when I was quite a bit less jaded by a corrupt and vile government. The United States government with it's greed and overwhelming influence wrongly considered power by fools and cowards.
I could go into it a bit deeper but choose not to as I wouldn't want to share certain aspects of my life and personal beliefs with whatever flaky character may be hiding in the shadows. And besides, to do so would be more self gratifying than anything else.
I'm waiting for the motherfucker to show up again and take his best shot at convincing anyone ignorant enough to buy horseshit in a sack that he's on a higher intellectual level of understanding than the rest of us. Which he isn't. He suffers from that dreaded curse of personal dissatisfaction expressed in the same tired and worn out way of nothingness over and over again. Perhaps after he finishes jacking off he'll get back to normal and continue to educate us all "...in the right way".

I prefer subwoofers stuffed up the chimney.
Your neighbors will resonate with you!

Sounds good to me!
I had an idea awhile back. If I were the owner of an apartment complex I'd offer cheap rent in exchange for an agreement that the tenants be required to listen through a number of loud speakers placed throughout the place music of my choosing every evening from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.

I'd charge them a higher rent for the elaborate cultural pleasures instead... ;)
