To Site Admins RE: "Star Wars Theme Stolen" Thread
Just wanted to throw this out there to the site administrators and anyone else that may have seen this thread before it was deleted (earlier today I'm assuming)...
Exactly what sort of riot did I incite by my response to this guy's comment? Seriously, I'm starting to think I'm a post-killer by answering and/or commenting. This is at least the fourth time to my recollection that a question/comment has been deleted from the forum after I respoded to it. Did I offend someone?
I don't suppose it really matters in the end, I just thought it was good fodder for conversation and that my response was concise and well informed...and wholly appropriate. I was really looking forward to seeing if it went anywhere.
Being something of a nightowl, I didn't see what happened in the responses during the day today after I posted a comment...personally, I'd just like to know what was said after me that warranted a deletion. I know there was absolutely nothing that anyone could have said (short of threats of physical violence toward myself or family) that would have offended me personally.
So...what happened to it? Can anyone let me know?
Thanks in advance

This might actually be a technical problem, not one of content. The point is this: When someone starts a discussion thread neither in the "General Questions" nor the "Looking for a soundtrack" section, but attached to the Soundtrack title in question, then it appears empty once it sinks out of the front page list of discussions. It is still there though, although it's a bit complicated to retrieve it:
http://soundtrackcollector.com/catalog/soundtracktopic.php?movieid=81807&topicid=11903
I agree that this technical glitch is quite confusing and I wished it w(c)ould be rectified. Until then, the way to get the thread back is to first go to the soundtrack site it was related to and then click at the "Discussion" link on the left-hand column of that site.
When you view my own profile here (by clicking at my user name below), you will find that the same happens when you click at my own thread "TWIN PEAKS Two - Mystery Track". It appears empty, but once you go to the Twin Peaks Two site and click at "Discussion", you will see it again and can find what was said.
Best wishes,
Urs

Ok, who feels like a doofus?
I DO! I DO!
Thanks for that, I had no idea you could begin discussion from an individual soundtrack's listing. Guess it wouldn't kill me to browse the site a little more in depth...see what other things I've missed after these last couple of years of hanging out here!

Another reason why SC's sweet little forum has to be upgraded ASAP and 'unglitched'...
