Need help finding a song!!!
I am looking for a song (or should I say composition? There are no lyrics as far as I know) from an 80's movie. I actually have very little information about it. All I know is that the song I am looking for has a beautiful (though sad) guitar solo somewhere in the middle of it. It was part of a score from a popular 80s movie. I am trying to find this particular piece for a friend and have never actually heard it myself. My friend originally thought the composer may have been Vangelis, but after listening to the Blade Runner soundtrack, which is the only popular movie he wrote for in that time frame, I think it must be someone else. Please help!

Kind of hard without a sample, Vangelis did Chariots of Fire in 1981, which is a popular
composition piece from the 80's, if you can post a sound sample that will help users more...

I appreciate all the input... I know my request is vague, but this is all the info I was given. As I said, I have never even heard the song myself. I believe it is electric guitar, but with more of an acoustic sound. Also, the guitar solo doesn't begin until somewhere in the middle of the piece.

Could you tell me, is the guitar being strummed, plucked or played with a pick? Is it a steel guitar or a basic electric with an acoustic sound guitar?
How many strings does it have? Is it being played with a wah wah peddle?
