Extreme lack of info over some songs

I am too desperate to find some soundtracks of a famous action movie released in somewhere like 2004-5 to 2007... i've seen the movie just once and dun even know it's name.. nor do i remember any lyrics/title/artist..the soundtracks were of rock genre..somewhat like that of xXx..but i one thing was prominent....like they didn't suit the action sequences much..opposite to the case of xxx...the soundtracks of xxx completely suited hardcore action scenes..but the ones im lookin for didn't suit the action scenes much.. i had the idea of bourne supremacy but i came accross them..they weren't the ones...can anyone help me out? Any person who has a bit of music sense and knows when does rock music actually suits the action scenes can definitely help me out...in case if he/she has seen the movie..i'd be really thankful...
