Looks like a new generation has taken over. I remember a similar thread about a year ago,
which prominently listed unreleased scores by Michael Small - Marathon Man (mentioned once,
at least!), Parallax View, Poodle Springs...
Now I look around and see a yearning for mostly mediocre blockbuster. Strange indeed.
coma, May 21, 2008; 7:45 PM

Year after year, the same chestnuts....
The Deep (John Barry)
The 7th Dawn (Riz Ortolani)
and in my wildest dreams...brand new, knock yer socks off, super-stereo, lovingly faithful recordings of 60's era Hanna Barbera cartoon music. The adventure music in particular (Jonny Quest, Birdman etc.) and all the theme songs that had a big band sound. If this became reality, I'd pass out .
And if the theme music for Filmation's animated Superman series came out under these conditions as well, .... I'd croak.
