I can absolutely recommend Tiersen's "GOOD BYE, LENIN!":

However, the general tone of it is much more melancholic and nostalgic. If possible, try to find the 23 track version, more recent editions of this soundtrack include just 18 tracks. Unfortunately, ALL CD versions of this soundtrack include "copy controlled" technology which causes major problems when trying to import the CD on a computer hard drive (but should not affect conventional CD player playback).

If anyone knows of a "clean" (= no copy control technology) CD issue of this, I would be glad to learn.
