THE ANDROID
Hallo.
Maybe someone can help? Iam looking for the score of the film SCIFI film THE ANDROID (a Roger Corman production), from 1981 starring Klaus Kinski!
I never found anything on e-bay or elsewher (even on this side here exist no entry).
But at in the end-credits of the film you can read: "soundtrack avaibile on ...records".
Sadly, its a long time ago, that I saw the film and I have no copy at home. But iam shure, of that line in the end-credits. So, a soundtrack must exist!
Does anybody know something about?
Best whishes,
Jörn

On several occasions there have been announcements in the credits where they say a soundtrack album exists...which didn't happen. Blade Runner, Metalstorm, and a couple of others. Often the film is not successful so they cancel plans to release the soundtrack.
I suspect ANDROID is a case of this.

Hey Jörn,
Obviously, there was no soundtrack released.
It won't bring you any further, but at least you'll see you're not alone with your search:

In case the link doesn't work, go to www.filmscoremonthly.com, meassage board and do a search for "android" and/or "don preston".
Good luck and best wishes,
Burnie
