Question

Anyone have info on this CD?

"Comment Faire L'amour Avec Un Negre Sans Se Fatiguer", composed by Manu Dibango for a 1989 Canadian film.

The film was trashed by US critics due to its title "How To Make Love To A Negro Without Getting Tired". Labeled as racist. Funny, considering the composer is as black and the F sharp key on an old upright piano.

I found a copy in a discount bin in Lakeland, Florida several years ago. Have been unable to locate much info about it. Not even on Mano's official website.

PS; Manu Dibango is one of the greatest!

I hear it's a pretty bad film.

I've never seen another copy for sale. I'm wondering if it may have been withdrawn.

I can't find it there. Navigating the site is a bit mindboggling. To me it's like reading this...
