Hello,

All the cds I have bought this year have been scores from older films. The first score I get from a 2008 film will be "Brideshead Revisited" by Adrian Johnston.

I have only got one soundtrack CD from a 2008 (TV) movie, Wolfram de Marco's ZEIT, DIE MAN LEBEN NENNT which I really like. I am currently waiting for INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTALL SKULL (Williams) and THE INCREDIBLE HULK (Armstrong).

However, the fact that I have virtually no current soundtracks is NOT because I would find contemporary film music bad, but simply because I always buy current soundtracks with some years' delay. That waiting saves me a lot of money, though I see that it might be a somewhat parasitic behaviour.

As you guys know i'm pessimistic about hollywood scores lately, but i was taken by surprise by 'the Incredible Hulk.' I think this is an original take on fillmusic. Melodic and yet with all the ingredients fillmusic should have, two discs long!!!

I'm surprised the score from the Paul Schrader film "The Walker"( Anne Dudley) has not been released.
