I just listened to it today. I found most of it boring and unexciting. I am new X-Files music. I never followed the tv show or heard the score for "Fight the Future," but I am sorry that I bought this one. I agree though, it doesn't sound like a typical score for that kind of movie. I am familiar with the theme, and it's not in there at all (except for the techno version at the end of the CD).

Really? I found there was a lot of action going on. After about 1min. in Moonrise, seizure-Attempted Escape, Foot Chase, Axe Post, etc. Agreed there are some slow music on this, but I really enjoyed the action music.

Mark Snow Never Ceases to Amaze me!
In doing this X-Files he was still able to capture the relationship between Mulder and Scully throughout his music,....
I especially Love "The Surgery"
It envokes the emotional courage of Scully's decision in the movie to do the action in this scene,...
Didnt wanna spoil it incase people intend on watchng it!
