Les Temps Modernes, Soundtracks Vol. 1 - GEORGE DELERUE

I believe that this CD released in 2006 was removed for legal reasons (?). Nevertheless, is it still worth the effort to track down? Are its tracks available in other CD albums? What about the Suite Symphonique? It is nearly 25 minutes worth of music. I have not seen this particular track anywhere else.

Answers

The label falsely believed George Delerue's work to be public domain and released the CD
without consent. The complete edition was withdrawn and destroyed, due to the claims of the
Delerue estate, because the label couldn't pay the license fees.

The Suite Symphonique is to be found on pratically any release of Jules et Jim. If I remember it
correctly, the CD contains some other tracks that are not available anywhere else.

So this would make it a nice collectible for the ones who have managed to get a copy before it was withdrawn.

I just noticed the Prometheus release has the Suite Symphonique.

I might just be able to get this. I hope. The Les Temps Modernes I mean.
