Boy On A Dolphin

Hi Great news of this release from Intrada. I wonder if the album features Julie London's uncredited film version of the title song rather than the studio version by Mary Kaye. anybody got any info regarding this?

Hello,

If you go to the Intrada website the title track (Track 1) can be listen to, Give it a listen and maybe you will be able to tell? Also the last track on the cd is a shorter "Demo" of the title track, But it does not have a sound clip on it. Perhaps both vocals are on the cd?

Best Regards,
David Phoenix, AZ.

What I hear from the soundclip of track 1 on the Intrada site it's the same vocal as on the
Japanese reissue CD of the original soundtrack. I don't know what the Demo (track 19) is about
as it is no soundclip. But the sound in stereo is really great!

I have not seen this film for the longest time. I just remember Loren being absolutely beautiful and the island Hydra where the film was filmed on... breathtaking.

Unfortunately those innocent years are gone now but nevertheless preserved on celluloid for older generations to cherish and younger ones to dream about.

I believe Loren did sing the title theme song somewhere in the movie "Boy On a Dolphin" in its original language. Her effort was honorable.

The melody & original lyrics are simple yet beautiful!

I don't know where credit was given for the theme song that perhaps inspired a whole film score but let us give some credit to where credit is due for this one... shall we?

PS

As far as the demo... it could be Sophia singing it in Greek. That would be a very nice suprise indeed!

Sophia Loren is singing it better than I remembered. Very nice!!!

I finally found it...
