THE BANK JOB - Peter Robinson

Hi there,

Has anyone seen the movie and could provide some hints on the score? Or has anyone yet got
Lakeshore's "made-on-demand" CD-R and could offer a description?

Thank in advance,

David

I have the score, it isn't very good in my opinion. No themes or memorable rythms. It is simular in style to older work by Harry Gregson-Williams such as Smillas Sense for Snow and Replacement Killers.

Thanks a lot for the information! Is this edition a CD-R indeed? And does it at least come with
professionally printed inlays?

Yes it is a CD-R but the CD label and inserts are professionally done, though the arwork is on the plain side. I must warn you that Amazon's quality assurance checks are pretty much non-existent. They'll send you a CD-R with the paint still wet and smearned on the artwork and a CD-R that OBVSIOULSY won't play just from looking at it. Now I've only had 1 of 3 scores sent to me like that, but others have had the problem too. Amazon replaces the damaged disc with next day shipping before you send yours in, but its still unprofessional of them and a hassle to us! So its a small risk if you really like the score.

Ok, considering your warnings, I've just placed my order for it. I'm already very curious what I'll
be finding in the mailbox... ;)

I've checked quite a lot around, but it looks as if this release is only available at Amazon.com. I
couldn't find it in any other online shop, not even on other Amazon sites. Looks like this was a
very strange way of distributing a CD. Even more because it's from a renowned label.

Right Lakeshore has released Bank Job, Forbidden Kingdom, Bug, and Pride exclusively on Amazon.com as CD-Rs. Marvel has also released The Incredible Hulk that way.
