ECOUTEZ LE CINEMA - November releases

Gentlemen, grab your credit cards please. Universal France just announced the release of a
6-CD Georges Delerue Box: LE CINEMA DE GEORGES DELERUE for early November.

The first four CDs will highlight his compositions for feature films (1962 - 1992), CD #5 will
contain music for short films as well as main titles and the 6th disc will showcase his works
for TV. All this adds to a total of 117 titles and about 7 hours of music.

Of course, this edition will contain numerous rare and yet unpublished tracks from the
composer's personal archives.


Another interesting release hors serie, will be dedicated to the exceptional cooperation
between Jacques Demy and Michel Legrand: LE CINEMA EN CHANTE. This is not only the
very first compilation of it's kind, gathering compositions from Lola to the yet unpulished
musical comedy Anoushka, as well as new renditions of classic chansons from Parking, by
Michel Legrand himself.

Last but not least, the only regular release in this batch is dedicated to another score by
Philippe Sarde: LA GUERRE DU FEU for the movie by Jean-Jacques Annaud.
