Question

45 rpm of "Airport '77" Theme

Here's an obscure one -

Anyone know of a good source to locate the MCA Records 45 rpm (#40725) pop version of the "Airport '77" theme played by Roger Williams? ... (??)

I'm looking for it. Database says ONE soundtrack collector on here has it. Which one of you is it?? :)

I've tried all the other usual outlets. Any info in locating this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Have you tried to check GEMM and Musicstack?

If anyone else is looking for this ... the only recording of this theme that I came up with was a cover performed by Roger Williams on his "Evergreen" Lp (MCA-2279). I grabbed a mint one off of eBay -

Hi. I have the 45rpm of this title - It would be the same version by Roger Williams that appears on the "Evergreen" LP.

Cheers.

Ray Davies and The Button Down Brass do a killer blaxploitation style version with wah wah guitar, alongside the themes from Earthquake, Man With Golden Gun, The Big Boss, Towering Inferno and Magnum Force.

What a great bit of info - an urban jazz funk cover would be right up my alley as well. Will hunt it down and check it out - Thanks! I appreciate the lead.
