I've never watched the film. I'd take a guess at the question if I knew where to find a link to the scene.

I remember Charton Heston dropping a tone arm on "Round Midnight" in the "Omega Man".

I realize this is a very late response to a 7+ year old question but the same thing
was driving me crazy and I kept pausing the credits and finally managed to find
something that might be down the right avenue. I noticed in the credits that the
trumpet player for the studio recorded soundtrack was Henry Lowther. Henry
plays with the Harry Beckett band and much of the music in this youtube link
sounds like it could be similar or a spin off from the music score in the movie, at
least it is a starting point.

sorry for my writing in english but i'm italian. I also go crazy to find out the
title of the album Decca that runs on the turntable at Demi Moore's house. Is

Well 11 years after the original post I’ve also always loved the track
from the Decca record in her apartment. I think its Lain Ballamy on
tenor sax. He has a Youtube channel and website.

the label of Decca disc in the turntable, it shows
"I'm sorry - Brenda Lee."
