What an extremely pleasant surprise. No need to shell out stupid amounts of money for the jap
CD any longer.

I never hunted any version down in the hope a rerelease would happen. Today is that day.

As this is one of my favorite movies, I was trying to get hold of the japanese CD for a long time.
Fortunately, it was always too expensive.

The only thing that puzzles me is, that each time I hear the music, it evokes pictures of Omar
Sharif rather than racing cars... ;))

I'd rather have the original French vinyl pressing. In a record bin in Dayton, Ohio about 17 years ago. They were selling it for $3.00. Didn't have anymore money to spend at the time so I passed it up.

Awesome! This is one of the most anticipated CDs to be added to my collection. This is without doubt one of Maurice Jarre's finest scores.I have the gatefold LP (with booklet) and I have the sounds of Grand Prix also which includes Frankenheimer talking about the film.

Brilliant!!!

Hello,

Great news to see this score released by FSM. I'm also looking forward to the Percepto release of "The Day of the Dolphin"(complete) by Georges Delerue.

Best Regards,
David Phoenix, AZ.
