Orinoco Flow

Orinoco Flow was used as the theme song to a british TV series about a sailor sentenced to life
on Van Diemen's Land who escapes en route with some unsavoury and they find a ship which
they use to evade capture throughout the series. There was also a so-called "savage" who
joined the crew. If I recall correctly, in the final episode the crew turned against lead character
(who in turn killed them) and ended with the lead finding the "savage" possibly dead after fighting someone from his tribe near a volcano. It only lasted one season. Anyone know the
name of the series? Thanks.
