John Barry's STARCRASH to be released by BSX

This long oop recording will be released in a limited (1.500 copies) and expanded edition on
November 24th.

Along with the three Harkit releases, this seems to be a surprisingly fruitful year for all the
lovers of Mr. Barry's music. Hopefully this will continue in the next future...

Hello.

I'm afraid it's not a really expanded edition. It's more than probable the final "Starcrash Suite" to be a remix of several themes from the album. In any case, I suppose it will be a highly enjoyable bonus track.

Greetings,
Angel

I noticed this as well. Never seen or heard STARCRASH. Cannot listen to the samples but Barry is Barry. I have a feeling this might just vanish pretty fast. It would have been great if the master himself had autographed some copies. I hope more Barry scores will be released in the near future. La La Land Records will be announcing a few titles (so they said) and FSM. Varese cd club releases on Monday as well. We'll just have to wait patiently.

Serifiot, don't let it go... It's not one of the greatest Barry scores, but is really amusing and enjoyable. Go for it!

Cheers,

"...the next future"? Perhaps something is lost in translation.

Coma, you're a joker!

TWILIGHT ZONE!

It has a poetic ring to it though.

(serifiot) Have you watched "The Last Man On Earth" with Vincent Price? I don't mean, did you watch it WITH Vincent Price, the guy's been dead for 15 years.

Starring Vincent Price.

Not yet V. Soon! I cannot watch movies on my PC and I have no idea how to transfer them to DVD. Eventually I'll either rent it (if I can find it) or purchase it. Thanks for asking!

I thought he was still alive! WOW! Seriously.

Hmmm... getting him confused with Christopher Lee.

""...the next future"? Perhaps something is lost in translation."

Perhaps I read too many Philip K. Dick novels lately? I really don't think that this quantity of
Barry releases will happen to continue in the near future. So I'm already curious what the next
future will bring... ;)

I have the Silva double, with "Starcrash/Until September", and hardly ever bother to listen to Starcrash. I actually prefer Until September, Starcrash is very mediocre by JBs standards!
