There´s one track on the Mancini compilation "Mancini in surround" titled "The whale hunt"

There's also a suite from the film on "A Concert Of Film Music" conducted by Mancini. It's an RCA LP. Not sure if it's available on disc.

The highlight of the LP, in my opinion.

It will be a real surprise to all of us collectors and lovers of original music scores if this magnificent soundtrack ever comes out. THE WHITE DAWN was produced by Paramount - a studio notorious for refusing to share its classic film sound tracks to the public if for no other reason other than "Because We Don't Have To!!"
