Spent years looking for the name of this song..
Its the song that plays right at the beginning of this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yn16kwcpKis
Personally, I think this song is great and matches the scene perfectly. The only problem is, I can't find for the life of me what the name of the song is. Or who the composer is. Or what country it's from. Nada. All I have to go by is that it was made before 1978 (the release data of this movie) and that its really good. Chinese martial arts films from this area stole all their music from existing soundtracks, and never credited it; this film for example, has other music from Carrie, and a James Bond film. Because of that, you won't find any information about an official soundtrack of this movie or a listing of the songs used in this film. All I can go by is someone hopefully recognizing it by hearing it. And if you don't know the song, you can also point me in the direction of possible composers or countries that were composing similar music in the same vein.

It's the love theme from Bloomfield, composed by Johnny Harris.

Castle CIN CD-031 issued in 2000 (UK). The movie is made 1972 and the soundtrack came on LP (PYE Records) at the same time. The CD has the same tracks.

I thought I posted a response to this yesterday, but it seems to have disappeared.
Anyway, thanks a lot for identifying the music, squiddybop. This was the third time in 3 years I had asked anyone here if they know this song, so I had little hope of anyone figuring out what music this was -- let alone this quickly. That really made my day; I've already found the song and listened to it over and over. Thanks again.

It's also from Snake in the Eagle's Shadow and also sounds familiar to Harris's Love Song. It's not on the Bloomfield soundtrack though. One thing I do know: whoever's job it was to "steal" all this music for this movie did a really good job.

I too have been looking for music form Snake in the Eagles Shadow for years. I have found many of them, Magic Fly, Oxygene2, Carrie, etc but have never been able to find this theme.
This soundtrack actually has 3 themes for the US release of SITES.
squiddybop is a soundtrack god!!
