kind of action scores i'm looking for!!!
Hello out there,
Much to my frustration it is very hard to find action scores who:
1. Have a big orchestra
2. Use a repetative snare drum driven aproach, like U571, Cutthroat Island, Aliens and Godzilla.
Suggestions anyone?

Hello,
Alan Silvestri often uses repetitive snare drums patterns : Eraser, Predator (1 & 2), Judge Dredd, even Back To The Future (Part II). Some other suggestion : RobotJox (Frédéric Talgorn), Iron Eagle (the orchestra isn't "massive" but it has great percussion drive) and Under Siege 2 (Basil Poledouris), Gears Of War (Kevin Riepl), Reign Of Fire (Ed Shearmur - some great snare drums on "Marauders", "Meet Van Zan"), Super Atragon by Masamichi Amano (but some others of his scores too, like the opening cue of Aurora), Soldier by Joel McNeely, Hard Rain by Chris Young...
