Soundtrack listeners.... shoot me your recommendations
Hello all....
I figured that this would be the best place to ask.... so here goes.
I am a relatively new listener in the world of the OST, but so far I am truly enjoying the following:
Solaris - Cliff Edwards
My Mothers Castle My Fathers Glory - Vladimir Cosma
Blade Runner - Vangelis
So with those in mind, feel free to give me some ideas as to other scores that I may enjoy. I look forward to whatever you might like to fling at me (as long as it smells pretty). Cheers............

Hello Tuneup,
When I starting to listen to soundtracks I bought some samplers
to get to know more composers and different styles of soundtracks.
Varese Sarabande (sountrack-label) released two very good
collections (4 cd's each) when they celebrated their 25th anniversary.
Since volume two is discontinued (it was limited) it can be hard to find.
Another 4-cd box was released when the label turned 30.
The prices of these collections are very friendly,
so they could be a good starting point.

I wish you a lot of listening pleasure
and that you may find something you really like.

Solaris - Cliff Edwards?
My recommendations are:
Cliff Martinez - Wicker Park
David Julyan - Insomnia
Carter Burwell - Fur

Remotely in a similar style, I recommend:
PROOF (Stephen Warbeck)
K-PAX (Edward Shearmur)

ooops.....
i meant to type Cliff MARTINEZ.....lol....... Cliff Edwards (also known as Ukulele Ike) sang "When You Wish Upon A Star". Hey.....I guess I'm not a total moron, as that's from a soundtrack right?? LOL
Thanks so much for the recommendations so far. I really honestly appreciate it. Having informed ideas is so very helpful. Thanks so much again to all who have posted, and who may also post after this.
Cheers........
