I was in Amsterdam 2 years ago -- overall a beautiful city but I wasn't much successful with soundtrack hunting. But one store where I did some purchases was called "DISCOSTARS" and was located at Haarlemmerdijk 86, 1013 GJ AMSTERDAM.

Try 'Concerto' in the Utrechtsestraat (close to the 'Rembrandtplein'). They have a
used/secondhand section (also new) and quite a large selection of CD's in any genre. I live close
to Amsterdam but hardly bother to go to shop for CD's. All the titles I want I can find on the
internet and with the relatively cheap GBPound and dollar to the euro it hardly makes sence to
buy anything here. CD's have always been rather expensive in Holland, only recently was the
price lowered somewhat, but often not for classical music (the new releases) or soundtracks.
Still you can try to find something you want and 'Concerto' is probably the best place to go.

Hi, I live in amsterdam. There are many used cd stores but most of them aren't very interesting for soundtrackcollectors.

My favourite cdstore is Concerto (Utrechtse Straat 52-60). They sell new and used cd's. You can find the used cd's downstairs.

A very good used cdstore with a nice collection of soundtracks is Second Life Music (Prinsengracht 366). The soundtracks are located upstairs.

Record Mania (Ferdinand Bolstraat 30) sells used records and cds. They have some soundtracks.

If you are interested in records, you should visit The Record Palace (Weterinschans 33). They have a lot of soundtracks on vinyl.

And a good place for new cd's is Fame (Kalverstraat 2-4). A big cd/dvd store, but a bit expensive.
