Procedure for selling soundtracks?

Hi,
I just recently acquired a few Soundtrack albums that are in VG+
to NM condition, and I was wondering how I might go about listing them to sell on this or another site like it.
Thanks, Frank

Not an expert, but have sold my fair share of soundtracks.

Best to list my title, composer, label and condition (and be honest on that last one) If these
are LPs and not CDs, note additional things like cover markings, hole punches, cutouts,
promo labeling; etc. If it's a pre-70s album, specify mono or stereo. Also in this day and age,
make it VERY CLEAR these are LPs and not CDs.

Sometimes LPs sell better as a lot sale. You might have one or two that are valuable to
collectors and the rest ideal for frisbee practice. If you want to offload them all easily, a lot
sale would be your best best, just be sure to factor in enough cost for packaging & shipping.

If you list a on a forum like this, you can either have an asking price, or request contact for
offers (this works better if you got something ultra rare and popular).

Otherwise, you can try ebay or half.com. If they were CDs, you could enter the barcodes
into the site's database and it will speed up the listing. Not sure you'll be that lucky with LPs
though. I'd also search these sites to see what similar albums are selling for (and I mean
SOLD, not just listed) and price accordingly if you want the items to sell fast.

Hope this helps. Good Luck!
