Fried Green Tomatoes - Score?
I'm looking for the score album to "Fried Green Tomatoes" by Thomas Newman. Amazon has some used copies for around $70. Is there any place else that may have them for cheaper? I really just would like to hear the whole album, don't really care if I have the CD or not.
Email me at moviescore1@yahoo.com if you have any suggestions.
Thanks,
Matt

There are 2 versions. The score by Thomas Newman and the Soundtrack with 3 Thomas Newman tracks and 9 by other artists. The one by Thomas Newman goes for around $70 and other for under $10

The DVD has the entire score as a bonus - it plays without interruption during the making of featurette.

There are a number of DVD versions available for the movie. Does it matter which one I get or does one in particular have this score only feature on it?
Thanks for the info!

I just checked Amazon, and you're right about there being a lot of different versions. I can only say for certain that this version (the one I own) has the score only feature:

Although I'd guess that any version which includes the documentary featurette would also include the score on an alternate audio track. The documentary featurette is called "Moments of Discovery", and is listed under "special features", although the fact that an alternate audio channel exists which features the score album isn't mentioned on the packaging of my DVD.
Select the documentary, choose "languages", and then there is an option for "music score only".
