Buggin' the hell outta me!

OK, this may be a challenge. I know this song isn't on the soundtrack cause i already have it. Back in '97, the movie A Life Less Ordinary had a T.V. spot (not the trailer) in which there was a pop alternative song with a female singer. I also remember hearing it on the radio quite a few time during that time also. Its stuck in my head and its driving me crazy. Anyone out there have any idea what I'm talking about?
