PEOPLE BEWARE! SCAMMING SELLERS WITH FAKE OFFERS!!

I recently received one email, and it was very suspicious cos they did the same as a customer last month, making a juicy offer for some CDs I was selling.

He told me he will purchase all, and will send me a check, and I will have to deduct my selling price from it, and send them the rest of the money (kinda like if John Doe bought them the cds for $500 and I was selling it for $200, so I had to ship the $300 remaining to this guy who I received the email)

First time I said, OK send me the check and after I find if it has founds and cash it, will send you whatever you want, and he never contacted me ever again.

Last week, AGAIN I received an email, wanting me to buy some CDs, and this time I got almost caught, cos the bastard said he will send me a check after the deal was established several mail exchanges (yes, its a person, not a machine) even when I specified long before that PAYPAL was the only payment method.

I really dont know whats the point in this scam, cos honestly I never gave my real personal info on the web, so dont know what they want to do.
Even if they do send a fake check, nobody will be stupid enough to send them the difference before the check is cleared.

I googled the emails, and some appeared in other Blogs, warning to be dealed with.
