The Last Starfighter soundtrack
Does anybody know where I could find the soundtrack to "The Last Starfighter" (Craig Safan)? The cheapest CD I could find is $150 on Amazon.com marketplace. Is this CD that rare to find anywhere?
Thanks,
Matt

You just have to keep an eye out at places like ebay and amazon marketplace...
Yes, the CD is rare and hard to find now. It was sold by Intrada several years ago, but they discontinued it and now it only pops up on the secondary market for purchase and as you have found out it often is sold at high prices. You could also post that you are willing to purchase the CD for a certain price on these message boards and see if you get a seller willing to sell at that price.
Best of luck in your search!

There is also a release by Southern Cross which could be purchased a little bit cheaper than the Intrada release but isn“t expanded

I think Intrada should do another release of this score. After all, it is the 25th anniversary of the film. A nice 2 disc would do, the complete score, along with the songs and any bonus tracks.
