The Five People You Meet in Heaven
Does anyone know whether there is a CD of David Hirschfelder's beautiful score for the film of Mitch Albom's equally beautiful novel, "The Five People You Meet in Heaven"? I bought the DVD of this film [starring Jon Voight and Ellen Burstyn] when I was in Boston last autumn, which I've never see for sale in England. And I'm amazed not to be able to find the soundtrack anywhere either.
Please feel free to contact me on rmhrmh@btinternet.com
Thanks for any help you can offer.
Richard Howard.

Doesnt look like there's a cd. If the dvd has 5.1 audio, you might be able to rip the music (probably with FX) to make your own cd, assuming there's no dialog on certain channels and if the sound quality is acceptable.
Sometimes composers put out limited promo cds (not always listed here), but I didn't see anything like that on his "official" site. Didn't see his personal email, either:

Thank you spiritgumm. I looked at the web link and posted a message to the composer via his site. I know from experience that sometimes composers will supply copies of music that isn't commercially available. Fingers crossed. I appreciate your taking the trouble to respond.
Best wishes, Richard.

Could someone let me know, if it's possible to obtain this cd.
It will be greatly appreciated.

I have never found a copy of this lovely score on CD. If anyone ever does, I'd be very happy to know the details of its availability.
