Forum - Looking for a soundtrack

Question

I have an old LP of the soundtrack to Meatballs (a guilty pleasure from my youth). There are three Elmer Bernstein score tracks on it. Can anyone point me to more of his music that is similar to what he did in this? I was thinking Rambling Rose and possibly also To Kill A Mockingbird. Any other suggestions?

I wish there were more Bernstein tracks on the Meatballs LP.

The Good Son by EB is in a similiar gentle style and very much affordable... sound samples are available at Amazon.

Agreed. I like the score to Meatballs but there isn't much more I don't think. I own The Good Son and it is quieter but I was not thinking of it in the same vein. I'll have to re-listen and see.
