Christmas soundtracks
I'm looking for the best soundtracks composed for Christmas movies. This is for my job, I work at La Presse in Montréal and at MSN.
Any suggestion?

Right off the bat would be Mr. Williams' Home Alone and Home Alone 2. You might also take a listen to Horner's How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Silvestri's The Polar Express, Broughton's All I Want For Christmas, Broughton's Eloise at Christmastime, and Isham's Home For the Holiday's.
Hope that helps.

Richard Addinsell's score to Brian Desmond Hurst's "Scrooge" ("A Christmas Carol"). I don't know if a soundtrack recording exists, but there's a 14:00 suite on Chandos CHAN 10046.
Merry Christmas!

"A Christmas Story" (Carl Zittrer & Paul Zaza)
Just re-released again (the first one might not have been completely legal, a year or two ago) this time by Rhino Records (as I recall). Can find it on Amazon.com, and:

SANTA CLAUS by Henry Mancini, although I'm afraid it has only been issued in vinyl. It's a wonderful score (including some songs) for Christmas.

Thanks! But I'm looking for easily available soundtracks (in stores) for the wide public (Gee! I'd love to write something about the complete Jerry's GREMLINS, but I fear that this will be (again) released in a limited edition. Booo!)
